I became a Christian in 1973 at 26 years of age. I was a very troubled person. Because of my upbringing I had a fear of people. In fact, when I was in the presence of people I would be paralysed by that fear. Before I became a Christian, I had turned to drinking alcohol to try and overcome what I was experiencing.

 

In 1974 I was so desperate for God to sort my situation out that I was heading towards committing suicide. It was during my last attempt of crying out to God that I found God as a Christian, He began to work in my life to deliver me from all my fears and also to deliver me from the power of indwelling sin setting me free so that I could serve Him. Although when this began to happen to me I did not realise it would take 45 years till I was ready for God to be able to use me.

Within those years the Lord revealed Himself to me as a Suffering Servant, the Saviour of the world and as a Covenant God.

 

He also revealed to me His plans and purposes. His vision is to set His kingdom upon the earth which He is continually working towards, planting churches, preaching the Gospel and evangelism. In each church planted there is the teaching of the word of God preparing Gods people for that last anointing of the Holy Spirit, when He is going to make it all happen.
