The Purpose of the Ministry is to raise the standard of the Christian Life in three areas.

[1] Raising the standard of the preaching and teaching of THE WORD OF GOD

 

We need to believe that the Scriptures old and new testament is the actual spoken Word of God.

It is the manuscripts of what we have.

It is God breathed through His servants as they wrote it down. [God said it]. 2 Timothy 3:16;17;

The Word of God is pure. Psalm 19:8; Psalm 12:6;7;

That God Himself [The Trinity] is Holy and Righteous. The creator of all things. Isaiah 9:6;7;

John 1:3; 1 Peter 1:2;

He is not a Liar. Hebrews 6:18;

He is not the author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33;

Gods Word is proved to be true. What God says happens. Psalm 18:30; Deuteronomy 18:22;

There are no contradictions.

Every Biblical doctrine is pure, no doctrine contradicts another doctrine. Titus 1:9;

The Bible is not for ones own interpretation. 2 Peter 1:20;21;

Do not add to the Word, or take away from the Word. Deuteronomy 4:2; Revelation 22:18-21;

We all have the responsibility to preach and teach sound doctrine. Titus 1:9; 2:1-15;

[2] Raising the Standard of the Christian Life in  the quality of its LIFE STYLE and                EXPERIENCE.

 

The Christian life is about knowing God deeper. The scriptures are to be experienced by every believer. The Church generally speaking is in the doldrums [or wilderness] The standard needs to be raised in its quality so that God can bless His people. The standard also needs to be raised among leaders. The answer is that every believer needs to find God as a Christian. When that happens then God will do it.

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

[3] Raising the standard of the Christian Life in the area of PREACHING The                        GOSPEL and EVANGELISM.

 

Gods vision is to glorify and magnify the Lord Jesus Christ and to set His Kingdom upon the earth.

Through the Great commission we are to make disciples of all nations. We are to, Preach The Gospel, too evangelise and to plant churches in all the nations of the world. In each local Church should be the anointed preaching and teaching of the Word of God to prepare Gods people for the work of the ministry for the building up of the body of Christ.

Each local church is responsible to make disciples of all the people in their locality, to keep working at it until it is achieved till the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:16-20;
