As I previously said in My Personal Testimony. I became a Christian in 1973. Then in 1974 I found God as a Christian. It was then I knew the Lord was calling me into the ministry as an evangelist.

The first word that He gave to me was Psalm 16:11, "that He would show me a path of life; in His presence is fullness of joy and on His right hand there are pleasures for evermore." For the next four years He began to show me the direction He was going to take me, but even though He was showing me, the actual reality of it would not happen until the distant future.

In 1978 He began to work upon my life, teaching and training me in line with His perfect plan and purpose. I learnt that I had to completely surrender my life to Him and let Him do in me exactly what He wanted. I had to learn to die to self and let Him deal with my sin, setting me free so I could serve Him. He was writing His law on my heart and mind, taming my spirit so that I would obey Him without any retaliation.

 

The Bible tells us that His word is," a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path." [Psalm 119:105].

 

Isaiah 58 is God's word for my life. Each verse represents an experience that happens in my walk with Him.

It’s all about raising the standard. 

In the context of the scripture, the children of Israel were committing iniquity. They were sinning badly against God, seeking after Him, then doing a good work, then going back to their sin. Generally speaking, as a  church today we could be doing same thing, committing iniquity. The Lord is telling me to speak out against the wrong that they are doing. God's plan is to set His kingdom upon the earth, by the Great Commission. So, through preaching the Gospel, planting churches and through evangelism, individual churches are to make disciples of people in their locality, and to keep working at it until Jesus returns to earth.

 

Verse 11; is my call to Palm Springs in California.

It all began in 2002 when my Mom died. After the funeral we went to Ibiza for a holiday. We bought into a Timeshare club and through the brochure the Lord began to speak to us about Palm Springs. When we went there for a holiday the Lord began to speak to me and lay on my heart the American people and the Church there. In 2007 He confirmed the call to me by Isaiah 58:11; since then He has established us in the Church and community. I have also been doing evangelism in the community.

 

Gods plan for me now is to raise the standard in the Salford churches and then REVIVAL will come.

Isaiah 58:12; Is the Bible text for that

[a] "Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age old foundations."

The Church is in the doldrums, the standard of the Christian life needs to be raised.

 

[b] "You will be called, Repairer of Broken Walls.”

Anything that hinders the standard from being raised in our own personal life or the Church or any situation needs to be sorted out.

 

[c] "You will be called, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”

The Lord will bring restoration upon the church and the community; pouring out His Spirit if the standard is met.

When revival has come to the Salford area, my ministry will be complete. Then I move to Palm Springs in California, and continue to do the same there. Isaiah 58:9-12;
